I went to a sports banquet today for my sons wrestling team. My son is a good boy and straight A student. The coach focused on all the negative features of my son. This not only embaressed my son, but made me feel very sad. I am a strong person and know I need to stay strong for my son. When I am alone, I cry. Please help.

I would have pulled that coach off to the side then and there… derogatory remarks about a child in front of said child is not acceptable behaviour for someone in that mans position. go to the Administrator and file a formal complaint.
or just kick his ass yourself! that guy should not be coaching, just imagine what he says to the kids during practice when the parents are not there that just ticks me off I want to kick his ass myself now!!!

Talk to the coach and tell him you do not appreciate the negative comments he has made about your son…a good instructor does NOT do this, He’s probably a poor coach, most who do this are. ask your son if he wants to stay in this class. Of course, you could always enroll him in Gracie Ju Jitsu..
