Without pain, we can’t appreciate life. I know, this sounds like something that came out of a stupid romantic comedy, but it’s true. The sweet isn’t as sweet without the sour. i was once engaged to who I though was the love of my life. She ended up leaving me while I was sick in my small, cheap apartment. I was alone, at the bottom, with nothing. 17 months later, I’m a happy person. Bottom line: if you say you’ll never be happy, then you will NEVER be happy. Start there. Also, this world is way too fucking huge to be sad and depressed and anxious. There is sooo much to experience and be a part of. You just have to lose your fear of being rejected. Don’t be afraid to get hurt. I know there are 6+ billion people on this planet, but you have actually been put here with a purpose. You, just like me, have been assigned a mission. You just have to find out what that mission is. I’m 24 and I don’t even know what mine is. Just stick it out. I am on your side.
