It is good to know patience, but ‘just’ waiting is not the solution. No one should expect happiness to come find them, or love, or understanding, or motivation, hope, faith, God, take what you will. Figuratively speaking, waiting will work, but only if you have personally taken that iniative to go out there and try to find all these things yourself. Perhaps, you have never truly searched because you were just caught up in the waiting. Well, no one waits forever. I know this because I go through it everyday. I wait for help, but you know what? It does not always work that way. You have to seek it out yourself, it is all a process of consant self-discovery.
You have trapped yourself in the constant reruns of your mind telling you things will not get better, maybe for others, but not for you. It’s not true, so stop believing it as best you can. Stop holding onto those negative thoughts so tightly. Loosen your grip; let go entirely. You are so much better than this. And you can beat it.
Things are always changing, so don’t think for a second this feeling will last forever because even that will change. Florence Anna put it in good words.
When you can’t find a reason to go on, start by finding the little things that you can look forward to and go up from there. Hope is not lost. Keep searching. Good luck, hopeless one.

Florence Anna answered:

The best thing my mother ever told me was that every single feeling, be it utter ecstasy or massive depression, is transient. Nothing, nothing lasts forever. Just nothing. I challenge you to think of state you’ve been in that has lasted forever. I’m certain that you haven’t always been stuck at the bottom of a great hole, and clearly you haven’t always on top of the world. Therefore you have no evidence to suggest that you will always feel like this. In fact all your experience suggests the contrary. Keep going, you might as well see what happens next.

Who ever told you it’ll get better is wrong, YOU have to make it better. Try being around positive people, or helping others in need…if you mind is focused on helping others your ‘great big hole’ you’re feeling will slowly dissipate. Go out side, enjoy the beauty this great world has to offer…paint, draw, or sculpt to express yourself. Better yet, write! Write all you pain out, typed or by hand…everything your mad, or sad about…and burn it. Let it show your mind it’s time to let go. Good luck.
