my 28 year marriage is in trouble because my husband and daughter who is 23 have not spoken to each other for 2 years and things have become unbearable in the house and he now wants to leave he is my carer as I have Multiple Scelerosis

You need to ask the question: What happens when you don’t have the chance let alone the choice to ever see or talk to one another again? Think about it now if they could care less about one another then all your doing is making yourself sick over something YOU HAVE NO CONTROL OVER. Love him, love her but respect them enough not to try to guilt them into something neither want. As to the rest more info? Does he have down time , friends to vent too? Do you? Does your daughter live at home? Time to be on her own? Lots of different sides to the truth as you all know it – old indian saying don’t judge another until you have walked in their moccasins -
Try to see each others side the one that is not mature enough or even cares enough to try wee that the loser.
