i have recently been evicted and moved in with my cousins who are in their 30’s. i am 19 and they are trying to adopt the parental role in my life. telling me what to do and how to run my life, but i never wanted to be changed. what to i do??? i have no other place to go, but when im their im so miserable…

If you are depending on them for accommodation, you have to observe the rules they set for living in their house. If you don’t like it you have to either find somewhere else to live or tolerate it until you are able to move out. You could try talking things through with your cousins, you may be able to work things out.

next time they try to tell you how to live, remind them that your not their daughter and they don’t get to tell you what to do. Be firm and dont let them push you around.
