I can’t think of any special thing to give my older brother when I vist him soon…but I do want to give something nice…any suggestions.

I find that the best gifts are novelty items, like frosting flavored toothpaste, or a doormat that says ‘nice underwear’ on it. Something that he might use once or twice, before leaving it on the wall, desk, or medicine cabinet, where he’ll say, aww, I remember my sister gave me that. I miss her… blah blah blah.

If you are the arty type you could make something for him. Doesn’t cost much and is more personal.

if you don’t want to spend lots of money, a great way to give him something he’ll really enjoy is to find something memorable from your childhood together. Any little thing that makes him remember a fun time together he will enjoy.

Maybe something to remind him of childhood, a DVD of his favourite show from way back, or a special book, or maybe you could make him a photo book of some special family pictures.
