Eyes covered in layers of black.
Fed up of dealing with the minds flack.
Minutes feel like hours, hours like days.

Locked in eternal twilight.
Brooding in this dark, forboding lair.
I’ve become some kind of creature.
Shun the daylight, Shun it’s ‘Glorious’ feature.
My time stands still…

A braver enters armed with a light.
The creature cowers with fright.
Shields it’s face and rakes at the wall.
The braver retreats, leaving the creature to sleep.
It’s time standing still…

are you just expressing yourself, (most awesomely) or are you really telling the truth of where you are? Your words seem to have dual meanings, I prefer to ask if they come from experience of somewhere you wish you never had to see/go or emotions on overload ?
