The sun fades away off the edge of the earth,
Almost like it’s sinking into the sea.
The sky is ablaze, crimson and orange.
I stand at the edge of the ocean,
A solitary lost soul.
Looking out across the deep blue.
I stare and wonder to myself,
Wonder if someone else is out there?
Another lost soul,
Peering across from the side.
I’d walk along the sand,
Eventually come to rest.
And ponder about my kindred spirit.
Across the endless tide.
