I am 19, Irish [and living in Ireland]. I have lots of business ideas but I just can’t seem to start any of them. I have never had a job and am living with parents. I didn’t get good school results [I’m smart, just not on paper!]. I would love to be a successful entrepreneur and I would love to be a chat show host… but I just don’t know how to get going. I am really depressed having been doing nothing for the last year or more. I have so much potentila and want to go to the USA, but I won’t be able to get any green card, unless I win the lottery [which I am in].
My question is this… What should my first move [towards any of my goals] be? What should I do with my life? Please HELP ME.

[FMEE], With all due respect, you are stating the obvious and have not told me anything I don’t already know… but thanks for your input. I think this question may be more suited to a forum specifically business related.

I have read were you saying you have money, to start. But if you do not do your homework before you start and have knowledge of what you want and how you want to it; then you should just give me your money and say you just learned a lesson. It takes money to get money; this is true but just because you have money does not mean you get to keep it. This is why people who have business have their children start at the bottom and learn from the ground up. You have to know the business to know how and when to spend the money.

Thanks for your reply FMEE. I know that all of the responses will be saying ‘’GET A JOB’‘, and it’s probably the solution [at least for now], but what else could I do? I have about €6,000 [$8,900] at my disposal in savings to start something, or go somewhere. Is it possible to make a move in chat show land with this kind of money?

Get a job. Any job in the field that you think would be good for you. Life does not come to you. The only life that comes for you is the bad things. If you want to get a head and be a entepreneur you have to go out and make it happen. A person is not going to come to your house and say here you go, all your dreams just came true.
