Sorta looking for a spot of advice from others in this istuation. When i was in year twelve i was diagnosed with deppression and put on some pretty huge doses of anti depressants. One of the side affects was some memory loss and i really cannot remember most of that year. i know i would forget things all the time and i would even forget to go to school or hand in assignments. i tried really hard to fix this but i still only barely passed year 12. my mum thinks i wasnt trying though and even though i tred to explain to her that i honsetly could not remember any of that year she does not believe me. now i have stuffed up my chances of going to uni straigt away and have to wait to go to the adult entry levels in two years time. I really feel like i stuffed the last year of school and i cant even remeber how i did it. has anyone else been here before and do the memories come back???

I have been on several anti-depressants in my life time, and none of them caused memory loss. Have you talked to your doctor about this?
Santosh answered:
Past is always past. Believe in your present and act on what you can to make your future. If those old memories are really needed for your better future, those would come back. If they don’t, it’s because, those are not really needed for you to live in present and for a better future.
