Does anyone know where I can find a map of and info on SD from before the whites came and took over? I need things mainly on the Sioux.

for the map go to smithsonian inst. they have reps of old maps you can buy.

I’m writing a paper on SD and I thought I’d try and do it about the Sioux. I need to know about their everyday life I guess and I’m starting to realize that it will probably need to take place in the early 1900s.
