I just want help. I just want someone to save me. I’m alone but I need someone. I’m very introverted and I don’t know how to speak to people, how to make friends. I can’t take being alone anymore! I’m scared of living this way, and I’m scared of my own helplessness. Everything hurts and I don’t know how to make it better. Someone please save me.

Well leaving your response on this site was a good start. Being alone without direction is a scary thing. We all like to feel secure and safe, and since we are social beings we need others. However, sometimes we go through these strange phases in life where we are not secure. Why do they happen? There is a lesson in everything. If we never lack water, how would we know to appreciate and not waste it. If we live our whole life with billions of dollars, how would we ever be able to share the pain and burden of those is desperate need. Purpose is what life must be hindged on. God is the designer and author of the purpose driven life. When we go to the author we can see his design and learn of the why’s and the what’s in our own lives. As for me I learnt he didn’t give me a heart of fear, but instead of power and confidence in him. Without direction we are as helpless as a boat on stormy seas without and navigational equipment. You felt alone for a reason. To take a certain action, so that I would take mine, and you would learn something new. Cause and effect. Actually doing something for a purpose to realize a greater one later on. You search for God with a heart as sincere as a child, you find purpose, power love and confidence in his word.

look to the Great Spirit. He can mend your heart. Don’t fear what hasn’t happened yet. Look people in the eyes and you will soon realize that they are just as nervous as everyone else. Just a different way of facing that situation. Try this, imagine the person you’re trying to talk to is naked with a big yellow smiley face painted on their butt. works for me.

I suffer largely from neurosis and that often leads to my trust and confidence issues. My mom had postpartum when I was young and as a result she’s never taken to me. I’ve always been encouraged to keep my mouth shut and my head down, but I just can’t stand it. My neurosis makes me want everything I do to be perfect, but as I’m constantly reminded by my mother, nothing I do ever is.
